Don’t Get The Wrong Tattoo

February 17th, 2010

Now I hope I don’t offend anyone, so I’ll speak in general terms here. When you are getting a tattoo or another tattoo, please put some thought into it! If you are not a multimillionaire or wealthy and you want to work a normal job, then don’t get a facial ;) meaning a tattoo on the face. Attempts at becoming Lil Wayne may lead to a life of misery.

Also tats on areas with skin and bone can be quite painful I heard. So if you have a low tolerance for pain, you may want to pick a different area of your body.

My Star Tattoo Planning

February 13th, 2010

I always knew that when I went to college I would get a tattoo, but I was not sure what tattoo I was going to get! The truth is that I went to the tattoo parlor several times with friends that actually got tattoos  before I made the leap to get mine. They called me chicken, but I wasn’t scared. I just wanted to be sure. I was indecisive.

My advice about that? Don’t make the same mistake some people do and get any kind of tattoo. Plan ahead!

When you first start thinking about your first or any tattoo it can really stress you out.. After all, you are going to have to live with it for the rest of your life! Picking the right tattoo can be  pretty nerve-wracking!

As the months past, I tried to think of an inspirational, yet cute tattoo that I could show off with equally cute outfits and it just wasn’t coming to me. Since I have some artistic ability (I have been involved in art classes since middle school) what I eventually decided to do was to sit down and just draw some of the patterns and designs that came to my head.

Now, believe me when I say that there are  a lot more easier ways to think up a tattoo, but this was great for kick starting my ideas.
